Naiomi Glasses is a seventh-generation Diné (Navajo) textile artist, designer, model, and skateboarder from Rock Point, Arizona, residing on the Navajo Nation. She is renowned for her traditional weaving, advocacy for Indigenous representation, and her unique blend of cultural heritage with contemporary fashion and skateboarding.
In 2023, Glasses became the inaugural Artist in Residence for Ralph Lauren, leading to a capsule collection that integrates her Navajo weaving patterns into fashion pieces such as cowl-neck sweaters, cardigans, and coats. The collaboration also featured jewelry curated by Glasses from Navajo and Hopi artists, highlighting Indigenous craftsmanship.
